Welcome to our new house, situated 5 mins drive from the centre of the Tavira.
The house is in a small urbanisation called Salinas with views of the surrounding countryside. It is a very peaceful area with a bar, Portuguese restaurant and Italian restaurant/take away around 15 mins walk away (2 mins by car).
It has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, lounge, dining room/office and a large chill out room downstairs with a sofa bed.
It has everything you need for a holiday in the Algarve.
The house is 45mins from Faro airport by car and car hire in Portugal is very reasonable - there are parking spaces right outside the house.
A car is definitely recommended for trips to the beach and supermarket.
The beach is only 7 mins drive then a short boat ride.
The nearest supermarket, pharmacy and shopping centre is only 5 mins drive away.
There are over 200 restaurants to discover in Tavira and we haven’t encountered a bad one yet, so walk around the streets of Tavira and pick one although you may have to book in high season.
